| well, i don't really write on this thing much anymore, but i finally have something worthy of writing about. last friday, lance was in town (for the third weekend in a row). while he was here, he asked me to marry him. while i knew it was coming, i was still quite surprised when it happened. of course i said yes. so now we're engaged and facing many big changes in our lives. there is a lot to think about and discuss, but i'm excited! other than that, my summer has been pretty uneventful. having not found a summer job, my summer of road trips seems to have come to a halt pretty quickly. i would love to see more people and go more places, but i think i'm going to have to wait until i actually have money to do that. but i'm putting places on my list so when i can finally start travelling again, i will know where to go. |

| the white sox won the world series last night.
chicago went crazy.
there were people celebrating out in the streets. i even saw the bars by my apartment on the news this morning. they celebrated till all hours of the night, even now fans are still out celebrating.

| so, tonight, fabes arrived in the great town of chicago. while we were at the local grocery store buying necessities, we bumped into none other than brad from real world san diego. he proceeded to join the check out line right behind us. his purchases consisted of bacardi raspberry twist vodka, sprite, a card, and birthday balloons. he was so close behind us that fabes could have turned around and touched him, however, we were too star struck to do anything about this reality star presence.
